2024.09. We have set up a new lab in the Department of Physics at Sogang University (204, Francisco building). We continue and expand on the research we had been conducting in the Department of Applied Physics at Kyung Hee University.
2024.08. We secured a grant from the National Research Foundation of Korea as a principal Investigator. The project is "Development of twisted van der Waals materials for topological qubit," (소재글로벌영커넥트, Phase 1 until 2025.12, Phase 2 until 2027.12)
2024.07. We joined the "Center for Quantum Dynamics of Angular Momentum" as a co-investigator. This Science Research Center (SRC) project, funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea, focuses on quantum angular momentum conversion in 2D artificial materials. (선도연구센터, Phase 1 until 2028.02, Phase 2 until 2031.02)
2024.04. 김산 and 안상일 have won the 'Best poster Presentation Award' at the 2024 Korean Physics Sosciety Spring Meeting. Congratulations!
